In my early twenties, I found myself on an unclear path, stuck in a job sweeping floors and searching for something more. A friend suggested dog training, citing my lifelong bond with dogs and the training I had already been doing with my husky/German shepherd mix, Kaiser. That conversation sparked something in me, and I dove headfirst into learning everything I could.

I started in dog daycare, gaining hands-on experience, but quickly realized I wanted more—real results, not revolving-door "tune-ups" for profit. Out of sheer determination, I launched my first training business, spending every day hiking with dogs, working with owners, and refining my skills. The core of my training philosophy became clear: owners and dogs must learn together for lasting success.

Over the years, I had the privilege of learning from some of the best trainers in the industry, watching them transform dogs with precision and consistency. But as I pursued personal goals—like becoming a homeowner—life’s demands took their toll. I burned out, stepped away from training, and found myself back where I started, sweeping floors to make ends meet. But those who knew me never stopped asking for help with their dogs, and eventually, I couldn’t ignore that call that just wouldn't stay quiet.

So here I am—back on my mission, ready to help you create the best possible life with your dog.
To those who built me up, taught me, and continue to change lives alongside me—thank you. Let’s keep making a difference, one dog at a time.

Welcome to Paws and Resolve.
